Sample Configurations for various Scenarios

Here you can download sample configuration files for different scenarios. Feel free to use and edit them as you like. A detailed description of the XML-Schema underlying the configuration can be found here. If you encounter any problems while creating your own configuration files please feel free to contact us.

File Description
Download XML-Schema

1. XML-Schema

Contains the XML-Schema that defines the structure of the configuration files. A detailed description of the XML-Schema can be found here.
Download Technical Configuration File

1. Technical Configuration file

In this sample technical configuration file the duration the simulation shall cover and the interval at which the current state of the simulated system shall be saved are defined.
Download Main Configuration File

1. Main Configuration file

In this sample main configuration file the primary tumor and metastases grow with the same growth function and spread metastases with the same colonization rate. No treatments are applied.
Download Configuration File Archive

2. Zip-archive of all configuration files used in the article 'Simulation of Metastatic Progression using a Computer Model including Chemotherapy and Radiation Therapy '

The archive contains the technical configuration file and all main configurations files for a patient with hepatocellular carcinoma and multiple metastases in the liver.
Beside the untreated cause several treatments were configured such as the resection of the primary tumor, cycle specific chemotherapy, non-cycle specific chemotherapy, external beam radiation of the primary tumor, radioimmunotherapy, radioembolization and a combination of resection of the primary tumor and non-cycle specific chemotherapy.
All scenarios were configured once for the case that metastases are able to metastasis and once for the case that only the primary tumor is able to spread metastases.

3. Zip-archive of all configuration files used in the article 'Perforin-dependent direct cytotoxicity in Natural killer cells induces considerable knockdown of spontaneous lung metastases and computer modelling-proven tumor cell dormancy in a HT29 human colon cancer xenograft mouse model'

The archive contains the technical and main configurations files for experimental data from rag2 and pfp/rag2 mouse models. Different growth rates as well as dormancy and late dormancy were applied for the metastases.
