Competence Center
Bioinformatics

The Competence Center Bioinformatics researches in the field of bioinformatics, computational biophysics and system biology. Our focus is the application of computer models for the simulation of biological systems, in particular the spatial structure of chromatin.

We are a competence center of the Institute for Applied Computer Science at the University of Applied Sciences Stralsund. We are associate with the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
